With two separate but equally captivating releases, Factory93 Records maintains its reputation for showcasing innovative club music and demonstrates the label’s global reach and talent spotting.
Classmatic x Crewcutz – “Terrace Collapse” EP
Classmatic and Crewcutz‘s collaboration is a statement for Brazil’s emerging electronic music industry. “Terrace Collapse,” their first collaboration, is a two-track examination of the energy and rhythmic complexity that characterize Brazil’s new wave movement.
The title tune establishes its peak-time credentials right away. The rolling percussion and pulsing low-end frequencies that “Terrace Collapse” is built around provide the kind of kinetic energy that turns dance floors into social gathering places.
“Sinestesia” adopts a distinct strategy. It retains the rhythmic basis of the EP while venturing further into hypnotic terrain. Jazzy flourishes and what can only be called a “wormholing groove”. It is a fitting description of the track’s engrossing, almost transporting quality, intertwined with vocal fragments.
Since making his breakthrough with “Toma Dale” in 2022, Classmatic has produced consistently tight tech house with percussion that seems both polished and unpolished. Given their similar approach to creating contagious, dancefloor-ready productions, his collaboration with Pedro and Felipe’s group, Crewcutz, makes perfect sense. Heavyweight selectors like Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, and Marco Carola have endorsed the team.
Vitess – “Keep That Groove” EP
Vitess, a producer from Paris, makes his debut on Factory93. Vitess has established his career on labels such as Up The Stuss, Shall Not Fade, and HOME//GRXWN. He also owns and releases on his Retro Futura imprint. He is well-known for his shape-shifting approach to house music.

As the title suggests, “Keep That Groove” is a funk-infused house track. It strikes a balance between nostalgic elements and modern club sensibilities. Warm rhythmic rhythms serve as the foundation for vintage synth stabs and looping vocal excerpts. This mix results in a playful yet energizing ambiance that perfectly embodies late-night dancefloor sessions.
“Old To The New” offers a more meditative and reflective trip while showcasing Vitess’s flexibility. A great illustration of how modern producers can respect the history of house music. At the same time, the tune features wavy basslines and sharp grooves. They weave through traditional house elements while keeping a decidedly contemporary edge.
The energy behind Vitess goes well beyond the studio. His ability to convert studio mastery into captivating live experiences has been demonstrated by sold-out events.
