Camp Network Invests in KOR Protocol,...

In a bold move to reshape how creative work is owned and monetised, Camp Network, a blockchain platform that records and automates digital transactions without middlemen, has acquired a strategic stake in KOR Protocol, a decentralized system that helps artists and creators publish and earn from their work onchain, meaning directly on the blockchain, where ownership, royalties, and licensing can be tracked transparently and in real time.

The partnership is set to usher in a new era of collaborative expression, shared ownership, and real-time royalties across the creative economy.

The highlight for creators is that Camp Network will integrate KOR Protocol’s flagship AI remix platform, KORUS, which includes exclusive remix packs from Grammy-winning artist Imogen Heap, mau5trap (founded by deadmau5), Plastikman a.k.a. Richie Hawtin, and artist portal Beatport. This integration empowers thousands of artists to remix music tracks and instantly distribute their works on Camp’s suite of decentralized streaming apps. Each stream triggers real-time, automated royalty payments, thanks to Camp’s underlying tech infrastructure.

“KORUS is more than a remix tool—it’s a portal for co-creation at scale,” said Nirav Murthy, Co-founder and CEO of Camp Network. “By embedding it directly into our ecosystem, we’re giving artists a way to not just create, but to earn autonomously, with full IP transparency and ownership.”

Beyond music, the partnership brings together two innovators in the Web3 content space. KOR Protocol – whose mission centres around protecting and empowering creators via tokenized IP – will contribute creative assets and campaigns, including a new tokenization initiative built around Netflix‘s Black Mirror franchise. This includes the forthcoming launch of $MIRROR, the official Black Mirror token, with utility across both Camp and KOR networks.

“Our mission has always been about creating new ways for IP owners and creators to get creative and earn money,” stated Inder Phull, Co-founder and CEO of KOR Protocol. “Camp Network’s infrastructure allows us to scale our vision globally while staying true to our mission of putting creators and rights holders first.”

This announcement also follows Camp’s Phase 2 Testnet launch, where 16 new teams onboarded, building on a Phase 1 milestone of over 50 million testnet transactions and 4 million wallets. Their latest campaign with Cyko KO creator Rob Feldman engaged nearly 200,000 users and generated over 300,000 unique IP assets, underscoring the platform’s power to generate community-led content at scale.

KOR Protocol, last valued at $80 million and backed by Solana, Animoca Brands, Republic, and Niantic, has been on a trajectory of high-impact IP deals and creator-focused initiatives. Past collaborations from Camp Network include partnerships with AI-native IP projects like Merv and Storychain, with more, including a major Web2 IP collaboration in Japan, slated for later this year.

Together, Camp Network and KOR Protocol are setting a new standard for how creative work is made, monetised, and shared in the AI era.
