Lorde is officially bringing the Ultrasound tour our way. After selling out just about every major venue she’s announced this year, including Madison Square Garden and the O2 Arena, and the New Zealand-born dark pop songstress has announced a six-date run across Aotearoa and Australia, kicking off February 2026.
The tour comes off the back of Virgin — her fourth studio album. Maximalist synths, gut wrenching melodies, and pointed writing, the record is the punch of heartbreak with the kiss of desire. It debuted at #1 in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, and landed just behind Taylor Swift on the Billboard 200. Singles like “What Was That”, “Hammer”, and “Man of the Year” have already set the tone: big sounds, and all-in feelings.
If there was any doubt about her return, Lorde erased it with a surprise Glastonbury set in June — taking on the Woodsies Stage on release day to perform Virgin front-to-back.
The Ultrasound tour leans into that heat. It’s the first time local fans will see her onstage since 2023’s Solar Power run, and her biggest venues yet on home turf.
New to Virgin? Here are 3 tracks to start with:
• Hammer
• What Was That
• David
