Moodlighting are a twee/indie power pop duo from Denver who are currently in Los Angeles. They’re preparing the release of their David Lynch tribute EP and have given us a taste of it with single “Eraserhead baby.”
The track blends a shimmering garage rock and surfy punk spirit that rides the waves of its lo-fi production to add to its charm and sensibility. There are traces of acts like Vivian Girls, Best Coast, and Dum Dum Girls, turning the clocks back to the past but bringing their own level of golden warmth and pop smarts to bring it alive.
